Training on Report Writing and Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects in Ghana.

On the 16th - 17th December 2009, at Literacy and Development through Partnership conference hall, Tamale, Staff members of PAORP-VWC Country office Ghana implemented training on Report Writing, Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects to 20 local NGO Directors and project managers. The beneficiaries are organisations (NGOs) sponsored by Trull Foundation USA through the sister city of Tamale, Northern Ghana. The net work is called Northern Trull Network of NGOs. Reasons for the training.

Participants were train on innovative methods of report writing and monitoring and evaluation of projects. The objective of the training is to build the capacities of beneficiaries be able to writing good reports, do timely monitoring and evaluation of their activities and also to know that report writing, monitoring and evaluation of projects are not only to meet up with donor's demands but to figure out what challenges they have been facing in the implementation of their activities so that a forward looking strategy can be develop for the impact of their activities to be sustainable.

On-Going Project Volunteers needed in Northern Ghana.

We are presently implementing a WGT e.V Germany funded project on ending violence on women in some selected communities in Northern Ghana. In view of this we are in need of Volunteers, interns or researchers interested in this area to work with us for at least 2- 6 months. Volunteering or Internship will warrant constants movement into remote communities to build the capacity of women on issues related to their rights, meet with traditional chiefs, village elites and other stakeholders to advocate and document issues related to violation of women's rights in our target communities. Volunteering or Internship is free but before arrival you are requested to fundraise the sum of £550 to support the expansion of our women's rights programmes in Northern Ghana. We will arrange for your entry visa to be issued upon arrival in Accra, Ghana, We will arrange your accommodation, take care of your security, assist in your movement to the field and introduce you to your country Diplomatic Mission for them to be aware of your present in-country in case of an emergency
